Water Magician Manga

Water Magician, is a fantasy shōnen manga series written and illustrated by Malik and first serialized in VZ on 2020. It was later collected and published in lavishly illustrated volumes by Nokito and Hana Amano. Over time, it gradually attracted a cult following and as of 2022, several overseas publishers have started translating it for new markets, so now fans around the world can also get more into Mitch.

The story is set in an enchanted kingdom where water is not just a natural force, but the source of life and power. The story revolved around a boy named Riku, who finds out that he has an unusual ability to manipulate water in ways not seen before. But instead of being embraced, he is met with fear and turned away by those that should embrace him.

All of this sends Klause on a journey of self discovery. But as the world draws closer to war, his gift proves invaluable. Amidst betrayal, secret alliances, and smouldering passions, he’ll need to master his magic or risk losing Lucan forever. But at the same time, he also has to decide whether to wield them for destruction or for unity. The only one following him is the kind natured sorceress, Aqua, of whom seems to have plans for Kaito than looking. So as much as the battles are exciting and the magic system interesting, it’s that deeper story; it is about courage and trust and conflict between ego and duty.
